Just as Patrice RAYDELET's book about this splendid and scarce animal was published,
I heard that a lynx was shot by spineless hunter and saw its carcass on television.
Who is the predator? The lynx or the hunter? Man (or at least some men) does not
accept that a wild animal, such as a lynx, (a carnivore and therefore a rival), should be
able to live in its natural environment. Instead of trying to understand the creature,
to protect it, men kill it. Nothing could be easier. Some pictures from The Bayerischer Wald
National Park ('Bavière' forest). In this place, you can watch and photograph all kinds of
european mammals as well as all the different bird species, either diurnal or nocturnal.
